[Video] Healing camp ep. 3 with Jisung part 1 (08.01.2011)
I’m having Jiheon syndrome after watching Protect The Boss, and this recent show just made me more crazy about him. Let’s get to know Cha Jiheon in real life. (not much different I must say) xD
Healing Camp is an outdoor talk show hosted by Lee Kyung Gyu, Kim Je Dong, and actress Han Hye Jin (under the same management agency with Jisung).
I don’t sub this show cos it takes time to sub it alone, thanks to Blue she already shared complete recaps for the show. Please visit her blog for the full recaps: Healing camp ep. 3 recaps.
# First segment is Ji Sung’s first self-praise: “I’m well-mannered!”
Because both his parents were educators, Ji Sung explains that they were very strict with him about having good manners. Since he was young, he called his parents “eomoni” (mother) and “abeoji” (father), as opposed to the more casual “umma” (mom) and “appa” (dad). Continue reading

[Practise makes perfect] Learn how to read Hangul!!
Beginning and Medial Consonants
*Note: The tense (doubled) consonants have a “stronger” sound than their lax counterparts that cannot be represented with English sounds. The difference comes from more tension in the mouth and throat while making the sounds. I still have trouble pronouncing these sounds, too. Continue reading
[Let's Learn Korean] How to pronounces Hanglish (한글리쉬)?
Hanglish (한글리쉬) became popular after a Korean rap artist, Tyfoon did a small skit in one of his music videos featuring this “language.” Hanglish is not a literal mix between English and Korean but pronouncing Korean like English. This takes tremendous amount of skills because not only you have to speak Korean but you have to make it sound like English. For example, you would say “놀러” which means “to visit” in Korean. In Hanglish, you would say “놀러” like “No Love?” in English.
There are a number of copycats on Youtube who attempted this feat but failed miserably. Check out Tyfoon’s original skit.

Guide to type Hanguk Mal in Your Computer
You don’t need to download or install any kind of software. Actually, Windows (if you are using Windows Operating System) itself already provide this. All you need to do is to activate it. But to do this, you will need to provide your Windows XP installer CD, and you will have to log in as Administrator. Here, I’ll explain to you how to activate this feature, but the example I give will valid only for Windows XP. For Windows Vista or Windows 7, the steps maybe less similar.
1. It’s better for you to insert your Windows XP CD installation in your CD/DVD drive now.
2. Go to Start button -> Control Panel.
3. On control panel page -> c;ick icon “Regional and Language Options.”
4. After you click it, you’ll see a pop up “Regional and Language Options” dialog box.
